FIRST REVIEWS ARE IN!

"Half Air Supply... Half Queen... Half melodic George Harrison" - Muse's Muse

"...I am blown away by Solitary Road. Vincent sings the living hell out of all these tunes..." - Amplifier Magazine (due Feb 28)

"A collection of moving, introspective tunes that could melt even the iciest of hearts. When you combine this with his teen-idol looks, you know that the album will bring dew to the eyes of every female and several males, who spin the disc on her or his player." - Entertainment Today

FIRST RETAIL!
Kyle recently held his first in-store CD signing for "Solitary Road" at Nebraska's big music retailer, Homer's Music, in Lincoln where J.Pat from B107.3 was on hand to broadcast live. Kyle performed songs from the album and signed CD's, which sold briskly, landing "Solitary Road" among some pretty big names on Homer's national artists' sales figures for their entire chain:

THE FIRST RADIO SHOW!
On his recent trek to the plains, Kyle co-hosted a radio show with Program Director J.Pat Miller at Hot AC station B107.3 in Lincoln, Nebraska. Kyle was on the air for nearly two hours reading spots promoting the station's sponsors, taking calls from listeners, giving away autographed cds, discussing his new album, and inventing weather reports. (Yes, we said "inventing!") It was definitely an entertaining morning and, what's more, you can now listen to the conveniently edited show online at www.kylevincent.com! Running time, about 45 minutes.

A FIRST IN FIFTH AT FIRTH!
Following the radio show, Kyle surprised a 5th grade class at Norris Elementary
School in Firth, Nebraska with a personal visit. (Huh? You think Firth sounds small? You oughta hang out in East Firth!) The students and their teacher, Mr. Craig Potter, had adopted Kyle's song "5000 Heroes" to inspire classroom discussion and essay writing following the events of September 11th, 2001. It was a priceless moment when Kyle was introduced to the class as "the man who wrote that song." The kids knew every word of the lyric and Kyle stayed with the class for over two hours as he listened to their essays, took questions, sang for the class, and signed autographs. Many thanks to Mr. Potter and Norris Elementary for a wonderfully inspiring visit.

HIS FIRST INAUGURATION!
That evening, Kyle performed for Nebraska Governor Mike Johanns' Inauguration in front of 6,000 guests at the Devaney Center in Lincoln. By the Governor's request, he sang "5000 Heroes" during the Grand March ceremony where all of the state representatives are formally presented. The Inaugural Ball took place immediately following and Kyle was able to exchange greetings and political discussion with many who attended. He was in black tie heaven! "As long as I didn't mention that I was a vegan born and raised in Berkeley, all was cool," Kyle jokes. "Truthfully, the Gov and his wife were incredibly gracious hosts, and very genuine people. It was a tremendous honor to sing for them."

FIRST RIDE OF THE YEAR
And, as if he ain't busy enough, somehow Mr. V found six hours to bike 75 miles in the Tour de Palm Springs, raising money for several charities. Says Kyle, "Well, actually it was a Century, or a 100-miler, but after about 50 miles I remembered that I forgot to train, and looked for the next stop. Somehow I managed 25 more desert miles and collapsed on a pile of bananas and Clif Bars in La Quinta. Hey, I think that could be the title of the next album - 'Collapsed On A Pile Of Bananas And Clif Bars In La Quinta!'"
