Lauren Bush and I have been friends forever! Our moms are friends, my younger brother and her younger sister are friends... We've spent family Thanksgivings together and she and I even lived in the same building at one point! Bottom line, she is a great person and one who has always involved herself in worthy projects, namely the FEED bags she designs for the Feed Foundation.
She is also a a staunch vegetarian (since the age of 4!), something that I, for better or worse, am not. So I thought it would be an interesting challenge if Lauren tried to introduce me to some vegetarian fare at one of her favorite restaurants, Candle 79 in New York City. I was pretty nervous as I barely like vegetables, but click on the video to see how things went!
