Cal State Dominguez Hill's Kevin Halamicek Named Rawlings Baseball Pitcher of the Week

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- CAL STATE DOMINGUEZ HILLS hurler Kevin Halamicek has been named the Rawlings CCAA Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week of February 7-13.

Halamicek, a junior from Lucerne Valley, Calif., fired a complete-game no-hitter in an 8-0 win over Cal Baptist last week. In nine innings pitched, Halamicek walked three and struck out four in registering the first no-hitter for Cal State Dominguez Hills since March 18, 1994.
