WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- The California
Collegiate Athletic Association, one of the nation's most
successful NCAA Division II athletic conferences, has selected
Virginia-based College Sports Online, Inc. to handle the daily
maintenance of its internet World Wide Web site.
The site, which CSOL developed, launched last
April and was maintained internally by the CCAA staff prior to the
current agreement. Site features include up-to-date scores,
standings, statistics and schedules for all 13 CCAA sports, as
well as member institution and other league information.
"College Sports Online's expertise and
attention to detail was invaluable in developing the site,"
said CCAA Director of Media Relations Joe Lang.
"We are very pleased College Sports
Online will continue to enhance the CCAA image by taking our Web
site to the next level."
The CCAA is entering its 61st season as an
intercollegiate athletics conference and has won a national-best
132 NCAA Division II Championships all-time. Members include Cal
Poly Pomona, Cal State Bakersfield, Cal State Dominguez Hills, Cal
State L.A., Cal State, San Bernardino, Cal State Stanislaus, Chico
State, UC Davis, UC Riverside, Grand Canyon, San Francisco State,
Sonoma State and UC San Diego (begins competing in Fall 2000). |
