WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- CAL STATE DOMINGUEZ HILLS forward Juan Carlos Bolanos has been named California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 6-12.

Bolanos, a 5-7 junior from Bell Gardens, Calif., powered the Toros to wins over No. 14 Cal Poly Pomona and No. 8 Grand Canyon last week.

Against Cal Poly Pomona, Bolanos scored two goals, including the game-winner in overtime, to lead CSUDH to a 3-2 win. Two days later, Bolanos tallied two assists in a 3-0 shutout of GCU to finish the week with six points.
