UC Davis' Jill Micone
Named CCAA Women's Soccer Player of the Week

September 20, 1999

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- UC DAVIS' Jill Micone has been named California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Soccer Player of the Week for the week of September 13-19.

Micone, a senior midfielder from Elk Grove, Calif., led the Aggies to a pair of convincing triumphs last week with two fine offensive performances. She set a UCD single-game school record with four goals and added an assist for nine points in the Ags' 7-0 shutout of Cal State Stanislaus. Micone then tallied a goal and two assists in a 4-0 win over San Francisco State. She finished the week with five goals, three assists and 13 points.
