WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- CAL STATE, SAN BERNARDINO outside hitter Jamie Liefveld has been named the California Collegiate Athletic Association Women's Volleyball Player of the Week for the week of September 27-October 3.

Liefveld, a junior from Upland, Calif., kept the Coyotes in pursuit of the league championship by leading CSUSB to a pair of road victories last week. She led all players with 32 kills, hit .411 and added 19 digs, four service aces and four block assists in the Coyotes' thrilling five-game win at UC Davis. Liefveld then tallied another match-high 18 kills, with 13 digs and five blocks in a four-game triumph at Chico State.

For the week, Liefveld hit .371 (50-15-93) with 50 kills (5.56 kpg), 32 digs (3.56 dpg), nine blocks (1.00 bpg) and five service aces. The Player of the Week is the second in as many years for Liefveld.
