WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- SONOMA STATE forward Shannon Rake has been named California Collegiate Athletic Association Women¹s Soccer Player of the Week for the week of October 11-17.

Rake, a junior from Santa Rosa, Calif., led the Cossacks to victories over Humboldt State and Western Washington last week. She tallied a goal in Sonoma¹s 4-0 win over HSU, then scored the game-tying and game-winning goals in a thrilling 3-2 double overtime win over Western Washington.
