WALNUT CREEK, Calif. -- UC DAVIS wing Scott Darmstadt has been named the Rawlings California Collegiate Athletic Association Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of November 15-21.

Darmstadt, a 6-4 junior from Berkeley, Calif., led the No. 19 Aggies to two wins in the UC Davis Hamilton Classic last week. He was the deciding factor in the Ags' 68-60 win over Humboldt State with 21 points and 13 rebounds. The following night, Darmstadt scored 11 points and added seven rebounds in a 67-62 victory over Western Oregon to finish the week averaging 16 points and 10 rebounds while shooting 40 percent from the floor (12 of 30).

The CCAA Player of the Week honor is the first of Darmstadt's career.
