SONOMA STATE UNIVERSITY will host the 1999
California Collegiate Athletic Association Mens and Womens
Soccer Championship Tournaments, to be held November 4-7.
The top two teams from the North and South
Divisions qualify for the tournaments with the mens
semifinals commencing on Thursday, Nov. 4. The SSU womens
team leads the North Division and became the first team to qualify
for the tournament. The Cossacks are currently ranked fifth
nationally and first in the West Region.
Sonoma State University is
honored to have the opportunity to host the 1999 CCAA Soccer
Championships, said SSU Director of Athletics Bill Fusco. We
plan to make the tournaments an outstanding event for the
student-athletes and fans.
Ticket prices for the event are as follows:
Four-day multi-tournament pass: $10 for adults, $5 for seniors and
$4 for students with valid I.D.; Single-day tickets: $5 adults, $3
seniors, $2 students with valid I.D. and $1 for children age 12
and under.
