IUPUI's Kia Hayes is the Women's Basketball Player of the Week after helping the Jaguars to a 2-0 week in conference play.

Hayes is the Women’s Basketball Player of the Week after helping IUPUI extend its winning streak to seven games with a pair of league wins. The senior forward/guard opened the week with 15 points, five rebounds and two assists in a 57-46 victory over UMKC. Hayes continued her solid play with 16 points, two offensive rebounds, two assists and a steal in Monday’s 68-47 decision over Centenary. In two appearances last week, Hayes averaged 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.0 assists to go along with a +1.30 assist-to-turnover ratio. IUPUI’s seven league wins surpass the squad’s win total from a year ago.
