The Mid-Con entered Saturday with two of the longest home court winning streaks in NCAA Division I. However, by the end of the day, neither streak was in tact. Oral Roberts snapped Western Illinois' 46-game home court winning streak with a 47-37 win over the Westerwinds. Valparaiso owned a 10-game home streak, but saw it stopped with a 68-67 loss to Oakland. In other action Saturday, Centenary earned a 52-44 win over UMKC, while Southern Utah notched its first Mid-Con with a 55-44 decision over Chicago State.

Oral Roberts 47, Western Illinois 37
Oral Roberts used solid defense in Saturday's 47-37 win over Western Illinois. The loss snaps the Westerwinds 46-game home court winning streak, which was the longest in NCAA Division I. Jenny Hardin had a team-high 18 points to go along with four rebounds, while Elisha Turek chipped in 13 points and eight boards. Zane Teilane scored 15 of WIU's 37 points.

Oakland 68, Valparaiso 67
Valparaiso's Betsy Rietema had a chance to tie the game from the free throw line with two seconds remaining, but missed her second shots as went on to Oakland post a 68-67 win over the Crusaders. Jayme Wilson connected on four three-pointers to lead the Golden Grizzlies with 16 points. Anne Hafeli added 15 points and six rebounds in the win. Rietema paced the Valpo attack with 18 tallies and nine boards.

Centenary 52, UMKC 44
Despite shooting just 28.3% from the field on the game, the Ladies picked up their second conference win with a 52-44 decision over UMKC Saturday. Van'esha Brabson led four players in double figures with 13 points, while Laura Kizyte nearly posted a double-double with 10 points and nine rebounds. Alysa Klein had 12 points and 10 caroms for her first double-double of the year.

Southern Utah 55, Chicago State 44
Southern Utah earned its first Mid-Con win of the year with a 55-44 home victory over Chicago State. Cassie Hahl tied a career high with five three-pointers en route to a game-best 18 points, while Julie Stradling accounted for 13 points and eight rebounds. Tina Hill was the lone Cougar in double figures with 10 points.
