Southern Utah's Catherine Johnson and Oakland's Kristi Mitchell named the Mid-Con women's soccer Offensive and Defensive Players of the week, respectively.
OFFENSIVE

Johnson garners Offensive Player of the Week honors after leading Southern Utah to a pair of wins last week. The sophomore forward tallied two goals in the Thunderbirds’ victory over Centenary, which kept SUU’s postseason hopes alive.

DEFENSIVE
Kristi Mitchell, Oakland

Mitchell takes home Defensive Player of the Week accolades after leading Oakland to two strong defensive performances last week. The sophomore defender was key in holding Oral Roberts to two goals (one on a free kick) and Valparaiso to just one tally in the 2-1 victory over the Crusaders, handing them their first league loss. OU also held both schools below its season average for shots per game.
