Valparaiso's Rachel Janssen has been named the Mid-Con's Women's Tennis Player of the Week.

Janssen garners Women’s Athlete of the Week honors after leading Valpo to a win in its season-opening match against Chicago. The junior picked up a win in the #1 singles position and teamed with Jenny Schwartz to notch a first doubles victory.
