Western Illinois' Nick Bohnenkamp and Valparaiso's Jeff Oleck were selected as the Mid-Con Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, after leading their respective teams to league wins last week.
OFFENSIVE

Bohnenkamp is the Offensive Player of the Week after leading Western Illinois to a 4-1 win over Centenary and a berth in the Mid- Con Championship. The junior midfielder opened up the game with a score in the seventh minute to give WIU the early lead. Bohnenkamp also tacked on the game-winning goal in the 43rd minute. He is second on the squad in points with 11 (3 goals, 5 assists).

Oleck takes home Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after leading Valpo to a 1-0 win over IUPUI Friday. The win clinched a berth in the Mid-Con Championship for the Crusaders. Oleck turned away six IUPUI shots en route to his fifth overall shutout this season and fourth against Mid-Con foes. His five shutouts this season are a Valpo Division I single-season record.
