UMKC drops non-conference matchup against North Dakota State

UMKC stepped out of conference play for a tilt against North Dakota State, but the 'Roos could not bring home a victory as the Bison recorded an 87-63 win.

North Dakota State 87, UMKC 63
UMKC outscored North Dakota State 46-42 in the second half but could not overcome 23.1% shooting in the first stanza in an 87-63 non-conference loss to the Bison. Quinton Day scored all 24 of his points in the second half and added five assists and four rebounds. Tim Blackwell hit 2-of-4 from three-point land on his way to 10 points off the bench.
