Three Mid-Con squads picked up conference wins in Monday night's women's hoops action. Oral Roberts picked up a road win over Centenary, 72-50, Oakland held off Western Illinois, 66-57, and Valparaiso used a strong defensive effort to down league-leading IUPUI, 55-48.

Oral Roberts 72, Centenary 50
Oral Roberts held Centenary to just 32.1% from the field and forced 18 turnovers on the way to a 72-50 win. The Golden Eagles were led by Elisha Turek's 19 points and nine rebounds, while Rachel Watman added 11 points, six of which came from beyond the three-point line. Holli Wilkins led the Ladies with 11 points, four rebounds and four steals.

Oakland 66, Western Illinois 57
Oakland used a key 24-10 run in the second half to take control of a tight game and held off Western Illinois in the final minutes for a 66-57 win. Oakland's Bonnie Baker tallied a game-high 21 points on 7-for-10 shooting, while April Kidd added 14. WIU's Zane Teilane notched her 11th double-double this season with 14 points and 10 rebounds. She added five blocks and five assists.

Valparaiso 55, IUPUI 48
Valparaiso used a solid defensive effort and key second chance points to post a 55-48 win over IUPUI. The Crusaders were led by Betsy Rietema's 18 points, seven rebounds and three assists, while Carrie Myers hit 4-of-7 from three-point land on the way to 14 points. IUPUI's Jernisha Cann led the way with 17 points and seven rebounds off the bench.
