ELMHURST, ILL. — Oakland cross country runner Adam Frezza (Oxford, Mich.) and Oral Roberts cross country runner Faithy Kamangila (Harare, Zimbabwe) take home Mid-Continent Conference Athlete of the Month awards after solid performances throughout October.

Oakland men, Oral Roberts women win Mid-Con Cross Country Championships
2005 Cross Country Champions - Oakland Men (above) & Oral Roberts Women (below)
VALPARAISO, IND. – For the first time in eight years a Southern Utah team did not walk away with a team title at the Mid-Continent Conference Cross Country Championships. The Oakland men earned their second title in school history and the Oral Roberts women picked up their first-ever cross country crown at the Mid-Con Cross Country Championships in Valparaiso, Ind.

2005 Mid-Con Cross Country Championships to take place this weekend

After competing in various races all over the country, the nine Mid-Continent conference cross country teams will gather this weekend in Valparaiso, Ind., for the 2005 Mid-Continent Conference Championships. Valparaiso University will host the event with the men’s 8K race set to begin at 10 a.m. followed by the women’s 6K event at 11 a.m.
