Cougar Men Have Two Players Named All Mid-Con Selections; Prabowo Imanuel Named Men's Tennis Newcomer of the Year
CHICAGO, Illinois – Chicago State's Men's Tennis had one player named First-Team All Mid-Continent Conference and another player was tabbed Second-Team All Mid-Continent Conference by the league on Tuesday.

The Mid-Con postseason All-Conference teams are voted on the league's men's tennis head coaches and the coaches could not vote for their own players.

Freshman Prabowo Imanuel was named a First-Team All Mid-Con selection, while his twin brother, freshman Prakoso Imanuel was named to the league's second team. In addition, Prabowo was also named the Mid-Con Men's Tennis Newcomer of the Year.

Prabowo became the third Cougar to be named Mid-Con Newcomer of the Year since CSU joined the league in 1995. He joins former recipients, Robert Gates (2001) and Saggar Salim (2003). In fact, Salim is CSU's last first-team All-Mid-Con selection before Imanuel's selection this season.

“I'm very happy for Prabowo and Prakoso,” CSU Men's Tennis Head Coach Titania Harris said. “Both of them had very good seasons as freshmen and will only get better.”
