Known Issues

    IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • The Update Journal page will default to displaying text editor that you used on your last entry. If this is not the text editor you would like to use, you can change your default.

  • It is not currently possible to post polls while Rich Text is selected as the default editor. You can change your settings to "plain text" or "whatever I last used" in order to post polls.

  • We're working on rearranging our Edit Profile and Journal Customization options. Until this process is complete, you will need to set your journal title and subtitle at the Change Settings page.

  • If you have noticed your S2 style has changed to Generator, do not change any of your customization settings, as your journal may revert back to your original layout on its own. However, if you adjust your customizations, you might not be able to recover your original settings. This issue's cause is still being investigated, and we apologize for any annoyances resulting from this situation.

  • Early Adopters are currently not able to create/edit custom styles, due to an error during a recent code change. Developers are aware of this situation and are working to resolve it. We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience in the meantime.

  • Some Internet Service Providers block email from LiveJournal as "spam". If you are not receiving your comment notifications or other email from LiveJournal, please see Why can't I receive email from LiveJournal? for further information, and then contact your email provider.

  • If your journal, Friends page, or other page on the site is not appearing to update properly, please clear your browser cache and see if that resolves the problem before opening a request.
