Welcome to... the Most Boring Page on This Site! Yes, it might be boring, but I feel it's entirely necessary to thank all the nice people who've helped out with this site, make copyrights clear, etc. So, read on... This site was created by Ashley Michelle J., or A. M. Jackson, who you know better by this point as Starfire. The site is maintained by me, and as stated at the bottom of every single page, all the stuff that's not credited to another person belongs to me. Please don't copy any verbatim text or graphics I've created from the site and claim it as your own - a simple link that says 'Hey, this came from Starfire's Redwall Abbey' will do nicely if you'd like to borrow something. It's also nice if you ask first, too. Thanks to my brother Brad, who taught me the basics of HTML and still insists, after three years, that his name be displayed here. He's a great guy and this site would have vanished long ago if it hadn't been for him prodding me to make back-ups. ;) Thanks to my mom and dad, wonderful parents who've provided me with everything I need over the years. Among other things, they've shown me that I can overcome and achieve; they've taught me the value of hard work and the satisfaction that can come from it; and through them I've learned how to put other people before myself. And they let me borrow their credit card to pay for webspace. >:) Thanks to the people who make Sunkist, various brands of cookies, cherry tootsie pops, and almond M&Ms.; Also thanks to ER, M*A*S*H, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, the Goo Goo Dolls, Creed, Matchbox Twenty, the Dave Matthews Band, Flickerstick, Third Eye Blind, Blink 182, Blues Traveler, Linkin Park, Our Lady Peace, and all the other bands, for keeping me occupied. [sarcasm] Thanks to Tripod, who hosted the site from March 1999 to March 2001, at which point they screwed up and accidently deleted it for four days. Heh. Thanks. Also thanks to Yahoo!-Geocities, who hosted the site until March of 2002, when they decided to get rid of FTP. [/sarcasm] Many thanks to PowWeb, our new paid webhost. Also thanks to Bravenet, which hosts our polls and guestbook, and is down every fifteen minutes; EZBoard, for hosting our forum for 2+ years; Ikonboard, for their lovely forum software that we now use; and various people for Java applets and JavaScripts. Thanks to the Redwall fans who visit this site and contribute to it. Just because we have to have one bad analogy on the credits page - if this website were a car, you guys would be the over-priced fuel that runs it. (And I'd be driving. Heh heh heh... ;) Seriously, I've met a lot of people through this website -- some not-so-great, but most wonderful. You've restored my faith in humanity or something. :o) Thanks to all the illustrators of Redwall, whose works you will find scattered throughout the site. They've given even more beauty to Jacques' magnificent works of literature, and their art is a constant reminder of how different people can view the same thing. Of course, thanks to Mr. Brian Jacques for writing the Redwall series in the first place. Because of the novels we've got the Redwall Online Community, and because of the ROC a lot of us have met great people and made new friends. Who would've thought over a decade ago that a series of books could do that? ;) And one last thank you to God, 'cause I don't tell Him that enough. =) Now, copyrights.
