When is a Redwall Not a Redwall?
when it's not.

Searching for things that share a name from Redwall, but have absolutely nothing to do with the book series is almost as fun as googlewhacking. If you've found something like the items already listed below, send me an e-mail. Make sure it's something that's not obvious -- we already know there was a Methuselah in the Bible, for instance, so I wouldn't put that up. If an entry doesn't have a contributer name next to it, it was something I put up.

When is a Redwall not a Redwall?
-...when it's a home security system.

-...or when it's in the Grand Canyon -- limestone cliffs or Redwall Cavern.

-...when it's a very pretty house that was actually named after the book series (see the disclaimer on the bottom of the page).

-...I'm not sure what this is, but Redwall is on a golf ball, and that's always cool.

-...a store.

-...a type of tire. ~Sent in by Calantorian

When is a Mossflower not a Mossflower?
-...Mossflower is the name of a racing mare.

-...and there's actually a band from New Zealand called Mossflower. They put out an album called 'Green,' but I think they dispersed and some of them went on to a band called Jester.

When is a Kotir not a wildcat-run castle?
-...when it's a Macintosh Utility. ~Sent in by Violett

When is a [character name] not a [character]?
-..."Barranca" (the name of the captain of the Freebooter in The Pearls of Lutra) is Spanish for "canyon". ~Sent in by Redwaffle

-...there's a beach and spa resort called Vilu Reef (Vilu Daskar: the villian of The Legend of Luke). ~Sent in by Redwaffle

-...There's a metro station in Paris called "Cluny La Sorbonne." ~Sent in by Adele

-...When is Cluny not an evil psycho-maniac trying to take over Redwall? When he's both a small town in France and Australia. ~Sent in by Rowcon

Found another Redwall, or a Mossflower or Kotir or something? Send me an e-mail. I like e-mail. Yup.
