Four new GI Joe posters have spilled out on to the internet, and you can see them in the gallery to the right.

The posters feature Channing Tatum, Marlon Wayans, Ray Park and Sienna Miller as Duke, Ripcord, Snake Eyes and the Baroness.

Stephen Sommers (The Mummy) is currently taking the film through post-production, and we’re expecting it sometime in August, 2009.

Dave Gibbons to reveal all in London

Watchmen co-creator / picture genius Dave Gibbons will be turning up at the Regent Street Apple Store in London tonight to launch a new Watchmen comic-book project, called Watchmen Motion Comics.

Gibbons will also be chatting about the Watchmen videogame and some movie he's involved with. Anyone can attend the talk, so we advise getting there early. It kicks off at 7.

Olivia Wilde joins Tron 2.0

Beau Garrett’s also aboard the sequel

House co-star Olivia Wilde and Turistas’ Beau Garrett are the first official cast members to join the new Tron sequel.

While recent reports have it changing its name to TR2N, The Hollywood Reporter has it stilled named Tron 2.0. Guess we’ll have to wait until it actually hits our screens to find out what Disney has settled on.

Olivia Wilde – currently to be found acting on House – and her Turistas co-star Beau Garrett have signed on for director Joseph Kosinski, who plans to start shooting in the spring.

Zombie makes Halloween sequel official

It’s been living in rumourville for weeks, but now Dimension Films has announced that Rob Zombie has officially come aboard to make the sequel to his Halloween reboot.

H2 (sounds like a Hummer to us) will kick off shooting in March, reports Variety, as he and the studio want the movie in cinemas for October.

Dimension was planning at one point to give the sequel to other directors, but Zombie says he’s glad he decided to come back for the challenge: "I was so burned out.

Carla Gugino playing a porn star

She’s signed on for Sebastian Gutierrez' Elektra Luxx

Carla Gugino has jumped aboard the comedy Elektra Luxx, starring alongside Timothy Olyphant, Alicia Silverstone and Weeds’ Justin Kirk.

But don’t get too excited about her porn star character – according to Variety, Gugino’s character gets pregnant and has her life turned upside down.

Luxx will act as a sequel to Sebastian Gutierrez' ensemble comedy Women In Trouble, a film that has yet to find a distributor.

Phantom sequel announced

An Australian based production company has announced that it will produce a sequel to 1996’s superhero adventure The Phantom.

Yes, only 12 years after the Billy Zane/Catherine-Zeta Jones starring original, someone actually wants to take another shot at it.

The Phantom Legacy, which either has a budget of $87 million or $130 million depending on who you ask, is being produced by Sherlock Symington Productions and will be shot down under.

According to one rumour site, not only is Chris Nolan definitely returning to direct a third Batman film, but Rachel Weisz is the top choice to play Catwoman.

Naturally, nothing official has been announced by Warners, but while we can see Nolan agreeing to return once he finds a story/theme concept he likes, a total of zero official casting decisions have been made for any new Batman outing.

Jennifer Lopez starring in Plan B

She’s picked up a new romantic comedy lead

Jennifer Lopez has agreed to star in the romantic comedy Plan B.

It’s been a couple of years since Lopez has been on screen, but she’s back at work and has a few movies coming out in the next year.

Plan B, penned by Kate Angelo, will find her as a single woman trying to conceive via artificial insemination, who ends up in a quandary after finding romance, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
