Danny Masterson: cool enough to hang out with The Strokes. Who knew?
Danny Masterson did his 35th birthday in town with a massive crew of 40, but it was less interesting for whose birthday it was than who came to hang out. Lord knows the third lead on That ‘70s Show isn’t super interesting as is.
His fiancée, though, is Bijou Phillips. She was with him March 11 at Lavo when things got going, as were Juliette Lewis, Eric Balfour, Cameron Richardson, Michael Pena and Julian Casablancas of the Strokes.
Masterson got up to do a set under his nom de turntable, DJ Mom Jeans, when he was joined in the booth by Wilmer Valderrama.
The next day, Masterson kept the party going at Tao, where his crew was joined by Ethan Suplee. That same night, comedian Dane Cook was celebrating his 39th birthday by not being funny. It’s how he celebrates all his birthdays.
