The Contemporary Arts Center is partnering with the SOMArts San Francisco to present It’s All a Blur, an exhibition about empowerment and enfranchisement in the American West and the current status of the American Dream. The exhibit was created by three San Francisco artists and utilizes video installation, drawings, sculptural installation, photography, and performance/video artworks. It’s All a Blur will be shown until April 23 at the CAC, 107 E. Charleston Blvd., which is open noon-5 p.m. Tuesday through Sunday.

Celebrate the luck of the Irish all weekend long with a carnival, festival, car show and live entertainment during the 45th annual Southern Nevada Sons of Erin St. Patrick’s Day Parade & Festival in Henderson. Proceeds from the four-day extravaganza, which is based at 200 Water St., go to the St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps fund childhood cancer research. It’s been more than 10 years since Celine Dion made the world swoon with Titanic’s theme song, “My Heart Will Go On,” and almost five years since her previous Las Vegas show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace. The Grammy award-winning sensation is back with a Vegas residency, Celine, beginning tonight. She will perform more than 70 times a year over the next three years at the Colosseum. It’s Teacher Tuesday at Bodies … the Exhibition in Luxor. Teachers present their IDs and receive one free ticket to Bodies or Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition, a $66 value. Classic rock group Foghat is coming to the Orleans Showroom for a two-night stand.
