Thu. 27

Open your ears and eyes for a night of Retro Rhythm, an exhibit themed around retro and rock artwork kicking off the Hard Rock Hotel’s monthly live music and art event, Modern Art Rock. (Doors 7-10 p.m., RSVP to retro@weeklyseven.com.) Grab your bestie for a far-out time—and an open bar from 11 p.m.-midnight—for Nu Disco’s Best Friend Forever Party with resident DJs Teen Wolf and Bad Beat. (At Town Square, no cover.) And in a town where “go-go” is an acceptable verb, what better way to reward our sexy crowd boosters than with a $10,000 go-go shake-off? Carmen Electra (pictured) hosts the fifth annual Tao-A-Go Go. (In the Venetian, doors 10 p.m., men $20, women $10, local ladies free.)

Fri. 28

Mosh to Christian scream-o band Underoath at the Hard Rock Café, alongside Thursday, A Skyline Drive and Animals Are Leaders. (Doors 5 p.m., $18.50 in advance, $20 day-of, tickets available at TicketWeb.com.) New York ska band The Toasters, who have been making us shuffle our feet for the past 30 years, bring their quirks to the Bunkhouse. (124 S. 11th St., doors 9 p.m., $10 in advance, $12 day-of, tickets available at BrownPaperTickets.) If none of these options bring you total satisfaction, hit Marquee, where Grammy Award-winning DJ/producer Benny Benassi brings the noise. (In the Cosmopolitan, doors 9:30 p.m., $30.)

Sat. 29

Ex-refugee and unofficial Haitian ambassador Wyclef Jean visits Haze to spread the good word and give a powerful performance. (In Aria, doors 10:30 p.m., men $50, women $30, local ladies free.) The wide grinnin’, dread shakin’ Donald Glaude is no stranger to Vegas. In 2005 he created chaos at Ice during a yearlong residency, and this time returns to the Artisan to play for mysterious minglers at its first Masquerade Motel soiree. (1501 W. Sahara Ave., doors 10 p.m., no cover.) With a fresh new collaboration with DJ and blood-brother AN21 titled Size Matters, one-third of the Swedish House Mafia, Steve Angello, takes the decks at Marquee. (In the Cosmopolitan, doors 9:30 p.m., $40.)

Sun. 30

Paul Harris (pictured) of Dirty Vegas—you know them from 2001’s “Days Go By”—hits Ghostbar Sundays to make your body move. (In the Palms, doors 10 p.m., $25 cover, locals ladies free.) Vegas is a town that routinely caters to the fairer sex, but tonight during the annual Women of the Night celebration, The Bank recognizes nightlife’s most dedicated and influential ladies of nightlife who toil behind the scenes. (In Bellagio, doors 10:30 p.m., $30, ladies and locals free.) Honoring equally important and beautiful women of nightlife is the Sexiest Server contest at Vanity, where bottle babes compete for a $10,000 grand prize. (In the Hard Rock, doors 10:30 p.m., men $40, women $20, locals free.)

Mon. 31

Swanky steakhouse Rare 120 is offering an unbelievable deal of half-priced everything to kick-start your Monday night. (In the Hard Rock, doors 6 p.m.) Canadian cowboys Corb Lund and the Hurtin’ Albertans, who are applauded for their 2010 album Losin’ Lately Gambler, bring their honkey-tonk rock to the Bunkhouse. (124 S. 11th St., doors 9 p.m., $5.) “Hey ya!” It’s Big Boi’s extraordinary birthday celebration, and the Crown Royal Black spokesman plans to go large at Jet. (In The Mirage, doors 10:30 p.m. $30 for men, ladies free before midnight, all locals free.)

Tue. 1

Show some local appreciation at the Tuesday Blend Project, a showcase of Vegas musicians, dancers, performance art and mixed-media artists at Forbes Ultra Lounge. (3400 S. Jones Blvd., doors 6 p.m., ages 18 and up from 7-10 p.m.$5, 21 and up at 10 p.m. free.) If you never got to experience a whole lotta love from Page and Plant, you can still get your fix when cover band Led Zeppelin 2 plays the House of Blues. (In Mandalay Bay, doors 9 p.m., $20 in advance, $25 day of, ages 18+, tickets available at HouseOfBlues.com.) Keep rocking when the writer and vocalist behind Tiësto’s 2009 hit, “Escape Me,” CC Sheffield (pictured), performs at Moon. (In the Palms, doors 11 p.m., $20 cover, local ladies free.)

Wed. 2

It’s a midweek night of live music, beginning with the Codi Jordan Band—the feel-good self-described “folk-hop-reggae-rock” band from Salt Lake City—at Beauty Bar. (517 E. Fremont St., doors 9 p.m., $5.) Chicago rockers Plain White T’s (pictured)—of “Hey There, Delilah,” and “Hate (I Really Don’t Like You)” fame—lead the crowd in a punk-rock infused jump-and-dance-a-thon at House of Blues. (In Mandalay Bay, doors 6 p.m., tickets start at $22, tickets available at HouseOfBlues.com.) And for some extra late-night madness, scenester hip-hopper Kid Sister guarantees to pack the room at Ghostbar’s most-talked-about party, Snitch. (In the Palms, doors 10 p.m., $20 cover, locals free.)
