The Paris Review's web-editor-about-town Thessaly La Force will leave the site for the Iowa Writers workshop.

The New York Observer editor Elizabeth Spiers announced three new hires today. Brian Gallagher will be the paper's deputy editor and Nitasha Tiku and Michael Miller will be staff writers, covering technology and the arts, respectively.
