The below video shows Life Of George, Lego's intriguing combination of traditional brick-building, augmented reality and iPhone apps, which was released last week. The £29.99 game contains 144 Lego bricks and a cardboard mat covered in black dots. Players download a free iOS app, which shows a series of pictures to be recreated using Lego bricks. When construction is finished, take a photo of your creation using the iPhone camera and the app awards you a rating based on accuracy and time taken. More >

DICE, Swedish developer of Battlefield 3, has told PC gamers they face Origin account bans should they play the game on unofficial servers - resulting in any other EA games linked to their profile being rendered unplayable. Battlefield 3's server files were leaked last week, allowing users to create their own unofficial game servers with different properties to those in the beta. Apple's app review process is today under question after a fake, unplayable Ninja Turtles game was found on the App Store. The app in question is named Ninja Turtles, by Vietnamese developer Namphuong Star, and was spotted last week by Daring Fireball. The app uses official Ninja Turtles art for its icon, backgrounds from NES shooter Contra, effects from SNK's Metal Slug, and some amateurish recreations of the titular turtles.
