SOE's free-to-play MMOG Free Realms has passed 20 million registered users, according the the developer and publisher. Sony intends to celebrate the milestone with a promotional clothing item and a Halloween themed in-game event.
"This benchmark is an honour and a true testament of SOE's success with free-to-play games," said SOE president John Smedley. "Free Realms delivers a truly captivating, quality gameplay experience that keeps our community engaged and continues to attract new players every day."
The 20 million wasn't put into context by figures on the number of registered users who still regularly play the game. Back in May this year, Smedley said that he thought the game would reach 100 million players within five or six years.
The game launched on the European PlayStation Network last month.
