CapabilityEdit

The user can use all powers, having an infinite mastery over all of them. The user is also granted the ability to use all their powers indefinitely, as they have an unlimited supply of energy.

None, however, proper use of this power requires Omniscience, as otherwise the being will not be able to handle the incomprehensible, immeasurable power they possess, and will become intoxicated by it, going mad. Using this power properly requires tremendous levels of self-control, and the power and ability to resist the temptations the power presents. A mortal user will most likely be under a Supreme Being.

    okay, hypothetically, i've just gotten Omnipotent. to some i'm a god, to myself i just have the superpower to do anything. ANYBODY at ALL have ANY advice on how NOT to go insane I.E. mad with power?

      Omnipotent beings cant go insane because they have omniscience. It is hypothetical that when you have omnipotence you will gain omniscience. The mortal mined cannot resist the temptation to use that power. However, if it was me gaining omnipotence I would not use it and live a normal live.

    AMAZO technically IS omnipotent, as he gained Omniscience, and used it to copy all powers in existence. He's the only mimic character that has achieved this, and thus HAS earned the title of an omnipotent being, since this would also mean he has copied Omnipotence in itself. Still questioning whether Omnipotent beings have Omnilock, since Omnipotent beings still sort of exist in reality.

      When was it stated he was omniscient? Isn't it obvious he isn't, otherwise he would have known his purpose, instead of asking Luthor. A large amount of the listed characters are not Omnipotent. Do the editors even know the definition of the word? If they are Omnipotent, they are GOD. It's idiotic to assume AMAZO=GOD

    A huge chunk of all the people listed are NOT omnipotent -- they are either reality-warpers and/or fall into a different category altogether. Just because they seem omnipotent or are capable of god-like abilities, don't mean they even touch TOAA, MoM, etc etc.....right off the bat for example, their's Beyonder and the Living Tribunal listed as "not as powerful as TOAA".

    People, if you are Omnipotent, you are invincible and cannot be beaten, period. You can't be "not as strong" as someone, and still be called omnipotent. Put them under nigh-omnipotent or something.

      You're certainly right,omnipotence means can do anything but if something it can't do then this should not be called omnipotence.The Living Tribunal and other Marvel characters are unable to defeat The One Above All then they should not be omnipotence!

    Father from FMA is not omnipotent. According to the picture of Father, he was omnipotent due to the generation of a sun. That is not Omnipotent. That was an application of psedo-physics in the FMA-verse.

    you can use anything you can possibly imagine. you don't get it? with omnipotence, you can use powers that don't even naturally exist. so yeah, you can create a pink flame that can burn and/or freeze people at once. you can make anyone dance with you as if you were in a music video. and etc. with omnipotence.

      The user has every single power one can think of. so yeah. the user will mutate yet they won't. they are immortal yet kill-able. They can be a girl yet a boy and even be neither of the two. they can also be everywhere and nowhere at the same time. everything is possible. EVERYTHING>

      Self -induced boredom is a psychological issue but remember the power to do an infinite amount of things doesn't necessarily bring enjoyment in the permanent sense. Oh an just making oneself "not bored" isn't a permanent remedy either if you live forever (via immortality from this power).

      That doesn't make much sense though - the whole thing with Omnipotence is that no one is above yourself, you have no limits. For their to be a whole race, even if they co-existed, it would make this into a contradiction because now suddenly you have people who are just as strong as you are, when you are supposed to be stronger then anyone.

      Well, after having omniscience and omnipotence you would hypothetically explode within 5 seconds from the power and control, but if you learned it gradually it would be more capable. I'd say about 5 minutes of existence, so if you wanted to do much with your powers you might have trouble, even if you use chronokinesis.
