Angela Antle

Angela Antle

Angela Antle is featured in the following program(s):

The first time Angela Antle used a mic, she had to stand on a chair. Her mother worked at a radio station in Grand Falls-Windsor and Angela was often called in when they needed a young voice for PSAs and commercials. As a student at MUN, she had her own radio show on CHMR-FM (and hopes no one knows where the tapes are hidden). She pursued her Master's in Journalism at The University of Western Ontario and went on to work at CBC in Quebec City and Toronto. While she worked in Toronto, Angela also studied fine arts at the Ontario College of Art ad Design (OCAD) - taking a year off to study renaissance art in Florence Italy in 1997. She is currently inspired by the artists she interviews on WAM. Angela's artwork is currently in a soundart show called "Shorelines" that has appeared at The Rooms, in Ireland and in Tasmania, Australia as part of te "10 Days on the Island Festival."
