- Audio Manipulation
- Sonar Manipulation
- Sound Bending
- Sound Control
- Sonomancy

CapabilityEdit
The user can modify sound waves to mimic, intensify, hush, and distort as well warp, strengthen, echo, speed up, and slow down external sounds. Can enlarge sounds to generate sonic blasts (similar to Sonic Scream). Can affect music as well as produce it. Some, like Emma Coolidge, could see sound waves.
LimitationsEdit
- The user can be defeated if he is locked in a soundproof cage, therefore nullifying the user's sound manipulating abilities.
- This can also be a problem in a vaccum area, like space, even if the user has Vacuum Adaptation.
- If mirrors or glass are in a room, it could be a problem because the sound wave can easily be reflected. This is something one should mind themsevles with dealing with someone who has Mirror power or Glass Manipulation.
AssociationsEdit
- May or may not accompany Sonic Scream.
- May be derived from Air Manipulation, as sound travels in air.
VariationEdit
- Musical Empathy: music being used as a weapon, literally. Powers, like flight or forcefield, can be triggered through music.
- Enhanced Synesthesia: visualize sound waves as colorful light waves and manipulate these lights by combining them with a particular emotion.
- Sound Absorption: use one's own body to absorb soundwaves and nullify their effects.
- Sound Intensity Manipulation: Control the intensity of a certain sound.
- For example, if in a soundless room, the user can snaps his or her finger and capture the sound to increase the intensity and volume in order to use it as a weapon.
