The University of Ontario Institute of Technology Ridgebacks are the athletic teams that represent University of Ontario Institute of Technology in Oshawa, Ontario, Canada. The University of Ontario Institute of Technology was founded in 2002. The UOIT Ridgebacks have been competing in the OUA since 2006 and have been a member if the CIS since 2008.
University of Ontario Institute of Technology Ridgebacks compete in tennis, rowing and hockey. They are part of Ontario University Athletics, and their mascot is a Rhodesian Ridgeback breed of dog. Their colours are blue and white, and their nickname is the Ridgebacks.

The Ridgebacks rowing team was first established in 2005 and currently operate out of Durham Rowing Club in Port Perry, Ontario. Currently the team competes in Ontario level Regetta's during the months of September and October. Complete with Men's and Women's rowing Novice and Varsity levels.
