  • Apache Kid (1860–1896?), outlaw-reported killer of three Arizona lawmen 1889–1890 [2]
  • Cochise (1812–1874), chief of the Chiricahua Apache
  • Geronimo (1829–1909), Leader of the Chiricahua Apache who fought against the encroachment of European Settlers on Native American Lands. Hero of the Native American Fight for respect and independence.
  • James Reavis (1843–1914), self-styled "Baron of Arizoniac", claimed to have owned much of Arizona
