The '''A.E. Seaman Mineral Museum''', currently located on the campus of Michigan_Technological_University in Houghton,_Michigan, is the official mineral museum of the state of Michigan.
The museum, named for professor Arthur_E._Seaman, houses over 30,000 specimens from around the world, of which approximately 5,000 are on exhibit. Most of these specimens are native generally to Michigan, and more specifically to the Lake_Superior region.
There are currently plans to relocate the museum to the Quincy_Mine, another part of the Keweenaw_National_Historical_Park.
