Radar loop of lake effect snow producing a localized storm over Buffalo, NY, October 12-13th, 2006 (Lake Storm "Aphid") (loop of 80 frames from October 12 2006 21:01:25Z to October 13 2006 04:38:54Z). Notice the continual formation of heavy snow over lake Erie in a narrow line. This image was created using free public radar data from NOAA.
