Summary [edit]

Description

Storm chasers Patrick Cool & Tom Stefanac document a major lake effect snow squall. The squall which produced snowfall rates as high as 15cm/hr dropped 60cm of snow in the community of Wasaga Beach over a 12 hour period between 9AM and 9PM. In this image benches and tables located on the Pizza Pizza patio (75 Mosley St, Wasaga Beach, Ontario) are buried by 60 centimeters (24 inches) of snow shortly after 9PM.
