The Jazz Winnipeg Festival is a Canadian jazz festival started in 1990 in Winnipeg. It is generally held in the month of June. A variety of Canadian and major international artists attend and perform in several related jazz genres. 2010 performers include Sonny Rollins, The Roots, Roy Hargrove, Terence Blanchard and others.
Notable performers from previous years have included bassists Charlie Haden and Dave Holland, McCoy Tyner, Herbie Hancock, Dave Brubeck, Wynton Marsalis, Al Green, and The Neville Brothers.
