Soo Wong (黃素梅) is a Member of Provincial Parliament in Ontario for the Scarborough—Agincourt riding in Toronto. Prior to the election, Wong was a two term public school trustee with the Toronto District School Board Ward 20[1] and old Toronto Board of Education.[2] Before entering public office, Wong was a member of the City of Toronto Board of Health and a nursing professor at Humber College.[3]
Wong was born in Hong Kong and moved to Toronto in the 1970s. She studied nursing and worked her early career in healthcare.[4]
