Canadian Secretary to the Queen

The Canadian Secretary to the Queen (French: Secrétaire canadien de la Reine) is the senior operational member of the Royal Household of the sovereign of Canada. The secretary is the principal channel of communication between the Queen and her Canadian government, provincial governments, and the governments of the fifteen other Commonwealth realms, as well as holding responsibility for the official programme of tours of Canada by members of the Royal Family and correspondence of the sovereign in the Canadian context.[1] He or she will also draft speeches the Queen will deliver.[1]
