[edit] Note on creating non-conventional trademark sub-articles

If this article is simply going to imitate the sound trademark article, they both may as well be merged back into the main non-conventional trademark article. 203.198.237.30 02:41, 19 August 2005 (UTC)

I don't think you should do that. Sound marks and Colour marks are very distinct. The history and rules dealing with both are different.

There is no limit to the amounts of page on wikipedia so no need to condense them into one article. This page was useful for me and I'm sure will be for others.

[edit] Why was this article moved?

Is there a reason this article was moved from Colour trademark to Color trademark, in flagrant violation of MoS?
I mean, as an anonymous editor, I lack the ability to enforce MoS and move it back, but I'd love to know why the rules don't apply in this particular case? 139.57.100.104 (talk) 22:22, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

A good question. I don't have the time to deal with it (nor am I an admin), but I will support reversing the move if you request an administrator to do so (an admin can do it while keeping the article history in the right place). VMS Mosaic (talk) 05:26, 21 February 2009 (UTC)
An admin is necessary for that? I thought anyone with an account could do a page move (even over redirect). 209.90.135.9 (talk) 06:16, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
You are right that any account can do a move. I think the one time I tried to undo a move like this, I made a mistake which required an admin to fix. I'd just as soon not experiment again and let someone who knows how do it. VMS Mosaic (talk) 09:36, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
Okay, I moved it. The complication I was thinking of was if the redirect page had been edited, but that was not the case here. VMS Mosaic (talk) 09:55, 26 February 2009 (UTC)
