Télé Inter-Rives
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Télé Inter-Rives (Inter-Riverbank Television) is a broadcasting company based in Rivière-du-Loup, Quebec. The company operates three stations in Rivière-du-Loup in a rare "triple-stick" (triopoly):
- CKRT 7/5/13 (Radio-Canada) (licensee: CKRT-TV, Ltée.)
- CIMT 9/6 (TVA)
- CFTF 29/11 (V) (licensee: Télévision MBS, Inc.)
Télé Inter-Rives also operates Carleton-sur-Mer TVA affiliate CHAU-TV (licensee: CHAU-TV Communications, Ltée.).
The four stations air programming in French, as the language and population in Eastern Quebec is predominantly French-Canadian.
Quebecor (owner of Groupe TVA and the TVA network) owns a 45% stake in the company.
