Editor Bill Catlin marks his 30th anniversary with Minnesota Public Radio in 2011. He is responsible for directing and editing MPR's business and economics coverage. Catlin joined MPR in 1981 as a part-timer in the operations department and made the transition to the News department in 1984. Over the years he has specialized in reporting on business, health care and education. He has shared several national awards, including two Gerald Loeb Awards for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism and a Robert F. Kennedy Journalism Award.
