The new Evil Dead film has released a brand new poster online, the tagline of which makes quite the statement of intent.
“The most terrifying film you will ever experience” screams the text, echoing Bruce Campbell’s comments that the film will be focusing on sheer horror rather than the chuckles of the second two episodes in the series.
Having taken a look at the official trailer, we can certainly believe that the new film is scarier than those that have gone before, although lashings of gore and cringe-inducing violence don’t necessarily equate to genuine fear.
Directed by Fede Alvarez and co-starring Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez and Jessica Lucas, Evil Dead opens in the UK on 12 April 2013.

c**p. Complete c**p. Female Lead = fail. Electric turkey carver instead of chainsaw cutting off HER hand = Fail, Bad casting = fail, bad writing = fail, bad premise = fail, No ash = fail Seriously who brings an electric turkey carver to a cabin. No body, whiney drug addled chick as lead =FAIL FAIL FAIL, oh geez what else, Diablo Cody = Fail. THis movie is a ruiner. It will ruin the first three and ruin Evil Dead 4. It already has ruined my year. Screw you Raimi and Campbell you sell outs jerks who ruined your own movie. Oh and by the way the abc's of death have the exact same turkey carver scene losers.

Really liking the poster. The trailer was really good and very creepy. It looks more than a bog standard modern day jump scare horror film.

I'm eagerly anticipating this... I liked what Raimi did with 'Drag Me To Hell'... If anything, it'z a welcome 'return' from all the found-footage/ HD Cam Horror movies that ppl keep churning out, to outright blood & guts Horror...!

Terrible Poster and Logo Poster looks like some naff torture porn rubbish or found footage dross rather than a supernatural horror The logo just doesn't read properly ... There is no need to update it to something that doesn't work as well Duhhh !!! ... Exactly how clueless are those designers
