    Dear Internet Nerds - I don't have the strength to go through list of 50 if not provided on the same page. So if neither lead of Midnight Cowboy is not on the list then can you tell TF eat a d*ck?

    I agree with Captain Crazy. There was a time when TotalFilmMagazine used to be an addiction and I actually learnt a lot about world cinema from its lists. Now its standards have fallen so much. Every single movie comes out and there are like 10 different lists each with 100 elements. First of all, cut down on the number. Make it like Top 5 or Top 10 and provide good material for each of them. Second, its f****n annoying when after 3 clicks on the arrow button the whole page refreshes ! Imagine doing that for 50 times ! Get your s**t together TFM.

    You can literally zip through them with the 'app', but you can't leave comments. Update on that please TF... but agree that the website needs sorting out. the 3 click things is incredibly annoying. Could we have a rating system on the comments too please.

    I'm sure these lists are just made to include Batman as much as possible, Is there a contractual agreement or do you get paid for the number of references to it you include on the site? In any case, if you are annoyed with the quality of the lists on here, why not just click on the arrows next to the 5 pictures and watch the films yourself. You'll save yourself the annoyance of reading Josh's awful 'how it could be better/rescued' etc

    Some I might add: Jay Billington Bulworth (in Bulworth) - hiring a Killer for himself. Also Porter (in Payback), got cheated by his "friends" and left to die. And maybe Doyle (in the underrated French Connection 2) - from top-cop to drug-addict (by force) and gets through a tough detox.

    Some very blatant research mistakes in this article. Among others, Erika Christensen's dad in Traffic isn't a drug dealer but the US Drug Tsar, the person in charge of America's war on drugs. Whole different ballgame. Also nobody who has seen Fight Club calls Ed Norton's character "The Narrator" - he refers to himself as Jack like in the educational books he finds at his abandoned house. Has the author even seen any of those movies? Or any movie made before 2012?

    Arnprior - In fairness to the dick who wrote the article, the character is actually credited as The Narrator in the film. To quote fight club wiki - "The name of the narrator is never actually revealed, and is often mistakenly cited as being either "Jack" or "Joe."

    Can I just point out that Will Smith's character Chris Gardner in Pursuit of Happyness or Ben in Seven Pounds were the first two movies that I named in my head when I saw this title and I'm deeply disappointed that not one of them are on here.....

    For an expert guide to movies, this website seems to always have many errors in there features. Very shoddy work Total Film. Maybe you should spend more time watching the movies than writing about them.

    Although I fully agree with the comments about the declining standards of Total film, I think it's important to remember it is a mgazine about POPULAR cinema. NaughtyMessiah if you really really want to learn about film, read Sight and Sound.
