STATE OF RHODE ISLAND AND PROVIDENCE PLANTATIONS Department of Health Division of Drinking Water Quality PUBLIC NOTICE OF INTENT TO ISSUE A CATEGORICAL EXCLUSION The Director of the Rhode Island Department of Health has reviewed for approval a request for a Categorical Exclusion determination for Four (4) discrete projects as proposed by the Stone Bridge Fire District. Project No. 1 will provide for the purchase and the installation of approximately 1,040 radio read water meters with leak detection. Project No. 2 is the painting of the exterior and interior of Stonebridge tank #1 located on North Braton Road, Tiverton, R.I. and Stonebridge tank #2 which is located on Quintal Drive Tiverton R.I. Project #3 is the painting of three (3) filter bed boxes with a NSF 61 coating that is resistant to scour at Stonebridge potable water treatment plant. Project No. 4 is the installation of SCADA which is an upgrade to the existing manual operation functions and the circular chart data recordings. Under authority of Chapter 46-12.8 of the General Laws of Rhode Island it has been determined that there are no environmental impacts associated with the projects; therefore, the Director of the Department of Health is hereby giving notice of intent to issue a Categorical Exclusion for the proposed project pursuant to the requirements and authority set forth in chapter 46-12.8 of the General Laws of Rhode Island and the "Rules and Regulations pertaining to the Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (DWSRF)" dated June 2011. Copies of the Categorical Exclusion can be obtained by calling 222-6867 weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or by writing to the Office of Drinking Water Quality, Three Capitol Hill, Room 209, Providence, RI 02908. HARMONY FIRE DISTRICT SALE OF PROPERTY FOR UNPAID FIRE DISTRICT TAXES The Harmony Fire District hereby gives notice that it will sell at public auction to the highest bidder the following parcels of real estate, or so much thereof as may be necessary to pay the fire district taxes assessed as of December 31, 2011 (and as to certain parcels, taxes assessed in prior years), together with the interest on the unpaid taxes, and the costs and charges incidental to this sale. The sale will take place at the Harmony Fire Station, 194 Putnam Pike, Harmony, Rhode Island, on January 18th at 10:00 AM. Terms: Cash or Certified Bank Check Information about the amount of taxes due on each parcel may be obtained from the Tax Collector for the Harmony Fire District by calling (401) 949-1188 and the amount of taxes due on each parcel will be announced at the sale. The Harmony Fire District gives no warranty, express or implied, as to the title of the real estate sold, as to the adequacy of the notice given of such sale, or as to the validity of the sale. The property is sold at the buyer's risk. In the event of an invalid sale, the buyer will be entitled to reimbursement for the amount paid at the tax sale plus statutory interest at the rate of one percent (1%) per month from the date of payment until the date of refund, notwithstanding the provisions of section 45-15-5.
