Star Trek Into Darkness has released a new batch of hi-res images, showing the crew of the Enterprise thrown into all manner of perilous situations.
The new images seem at pains to demonstrate our heroes under fire, as Kirk aims a Phaser, Spock flees an explosion and Scotty looks ready for a change of underwear.
The recent trailer featured a voiceover from an elder member of Starfleet berating Kirk for his cocky leadership style and warning that his personality would one day lead his crew into grave danger. That day has clearly arrived.
Directed by J.J. Abrams and co-starring Chris Pine, Benedict Cumberbatch and Zoe Saldana, the film opens in the UK on 17 May 2013.

It looks like in the picture with Simon Pegg that he's being told there wont be an adaptation of The Boys.
