Widely regarded as one of the most exciting escapologists and sideshow artists performing in the world today, David Straitjacket is a truly international performer. In 2006 alone he was booked to perform on 5 continents. Performing on stages large and small in a variety of countries, including America, Russia, Korea, Dubai, China, Ireland, and of course mainland Europe. In many cases being booked to return for a second and even a third time.

His shows are suitable for a wide variety of events, festivals, corporate events, cabaret shows, promotions, sales and product launches, theatres, casinos, colleges, universities and more. With more than a decade of experience performing at events around the world, David is nothing if not adaptable.

David’s shows include sword swallowing (David is one of only around 50 performing sword swallowers in the world), amazing sideshow routines, incredible escapology, and large scale stunts for any event. Of course the highlight of any show is always a demonstration of the incredible escape skills which have brought him a total of six Guinness World Records,,, and led ‘Ripley’s Believe It Or Not,,’ to dub him, “The Modern Houdini”.

He appears frequently on national and international television, on radio, in magazines and other publications and is currently planning several large scale stunts and world record attempts.
