The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is a private, nonprofit corporation created by Congress in 1967. CPB receives an annual appropriation from Congress and funds more than 1,000 locally operated public radio and television stations across the country. The Fitzgerald Theater The Fitzgerald Theater

Minnesota Monthly is a regional lifestyle magazine with a focus on arts, culture, dining, entertainment and regional travel destinations. Published by Greenspring Media Group, a taxable forprofit company that is wholly owned by MPR’s nonprofit parent support organization, American Public Media, Minnesota Monthly also contains Plugged In, a special section devoted to Minnesota Public Radio. Members who contributed $120 or more annually to MPR can elect to receive the magazine as a benefit of their membership, or independent subscriptions are available for $14.95.

Radio Talking Book
Radio Talking Book is a closed-circuit reading network produced by Minnesota State Services for the Blind that is distributed free of charge on a special subcarrier of MPR stations to visually impaired persons in Minnesota and border communities of Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, and Iowa. The Radio Talking Book provides access to current local and statewide newspapers, magazine articles and best-selling books, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, reaching nearly 8,000 visually-impaired listeners who rely upon it to help them live independent lives. Minnesota Public Radio is proud to play a role in distributing this service to the disabled.
