Minnesota Public Radio acknowledges and appreciates the support of its educational sponsors that makes it possible to bring programming to communities throughout the region.

Luther College Luther College sponsors KLNI, KLCD, KLSE, and KZSE. A liberal arts college of 2,600 students, Luther is a community of faith that inspires passion for learning and service. Located in Decorah, Iowa, Luther was founded in 1861 and is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). The college offers more than 60 majors and pre-professional programs leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree.
Concordia College Concordia College
Concordia College sponsors KCCM and KCCD, which broadcast to northwestern Minnesota. Concordia is located in Moorhead, Minnesota, part of an active metropolitan area on the Minnesota-North Dakota border that includes Fargo, North Dakota. Concordia offers undergraduate degrees in 82 majors from 40 academic areas, as well as course work in pre-professional programs, including medicine, law, psychology, music, and church professions. The college offers many opportunities for international education through a variety of programs for study abroad. Concordia's student body numbers approximately 2,800 with a student-faculty ratio of 14:1.
The College of St. Scholastica The College of St. Scholastica
The College of St. Scholastica, sponsor for WSCD and WSCN, is the only independent private college in northeastern Minnesota. It was founded in 1912 by the Benedictine Sisters and is located on a 186-acre campus in Duluth, set on a hill overlooking Lake Superior. A 13:1 student-to-teacher ratio makes it easy for students to seek individualized academic assistance and encouragement. St. Scholastica provides intellectual and moral preparation for responsible living and meaningful work.
Michigan Technological University Michigan Technological University
Michigan Tech in Houghton, Michigan, sponsors WGGL. The mission of MTU is to "prepare students to create the future," and it leads the country with the highest percentage of women enrolled in biomedical engineering, according to information compiled by The Whitaker Foundation. Engineering, science, technology, and the business of technology are the main focuses of Michigan Tech.

The College of Saint Benedict sponsors KNSR, which broadcast to Central Minnesota. The College of Saint Benedict is a nationally-leading liberal arts college for women whose unique partnership with Saint John’s University for men provides an engaged learning experience emphasizing leadership and service in a global society. Ranked among the top baccalaureate institutions nationally in the number of students who study abroad, the College of Saint Benedict is committed to global learning and connection and a vibrant environment of culture and creativity.

Saint John's University, the birthplace of Minnesota Public Radio, is a nationally-leading liberal arts college for men whose unique partnership with the College of Saint Benedict for women offers students the educational choices of a large university and the individual attention and community of a premier small college. Ranked among the top baccalaureate institutions nationally in the number of students who study abroad, Saint John's is committed to global learning and connection and a student experience enhanced by Catholic tradition. Minnesota Public Radio was founded at Saint John's in 1967 with station KSJR.
